It's no wonder that Bali is called the Island of the Gods. Tiny to towering offerings ranging from fresh flower petals topped with fruit, cake, candy, and cigarettes, to just a few grains of rice on banana leaf, are gifted to the Hindu gods daily. Most of these floral favors are presented in hand-woven baskets made from coconut leaves, and topped with a single, sweet-smelling incense, as if to seduce all senses of spirit. The streets are literally littered with symbols of love, and divine light . But it takes an eye trained to find beauty in seemingly ugly places, to notice, and more importantly, appreciate. Hey Goddesses:). So, here I am feeling good in Bali, in my Bali pants lol;). And I must say that feeling good is really easy to do here. On the flip side of that, just this morning I found myself quivering on the toilet breathing absolute FIRE out of my bum, due to a bout of "Bali Belly"...LMAO (I’m ok now, and more on that some other time).
