OLD SOUL
This is my landlord's MOTHER. Whenever I see her, she is either intently preparing offerings, like the ones you see pictured, or SWEEPING. She loves to sweep in front of my apartment, if she sees that I have the CURTAINS OPEN. Like most grandmas she is NOSEY lol. Whenever she sees me, she smiles and just TALKS AND TALKS and asks me questions all in Bahasa Indonesia (the local language). I have no idea what she is saying, but judging by her intonation, I imagine that she's saying something GRANDMOTHERLY like "How you doin' today baby?". Her voice always sounds just as sweet and pleased as her endless smile. I like having her around. She makes this place feel like HOME.
