Let's have a quick chat about Bali's beaches. So, I've only been to three, including the beach where I live in Sanur. And for now, my rating is AVERAGE. I've been to the beach in Kuta, Canggu, and Sanur. In my humble opinion, the beach in Sanur is the best of the three, Canggu being THE WORST. I haven't been to every part of the beaches I've mentioned, so not claiming to be an expert: there may be parts of these beaches that I haven't visited, that are better than the stretches I've seen. I know, I know, I sound like a real TRAVEL SNOB, but it's just my opinion - no judgement if yours is different.

I'm super STOKED to visit some of the better Bali beaches. By better I mean more clear or turquoise water, black or whiter sand, and maybe even some rock features to add a bit of texture to the ocean's BIG BLUE CANVAS. However, as a resident, and not a tourist, I'm TAKING MY SWEET TIME surveying all of the savory sights Bali has to offer.

Meanwhile, Sanur beach is GNARLY enough for me, and I'm GRATEFUL to live so close.
